Mon Repos, is a solid company that has been in existence since the year 1962 for more than 45 years, thanks to its founders Mr. Juan Moya, a Spanish national and Mrs. Yvonne Stauffer Rod nationality Switzerland, the 27-year-old left his hometown as a family nurse diplomatic and arrived in Argentina in the year 1946. 

On 02 February 1957 entered into Peru and while crossing the Andes was maravilló to see the mountains green, as well as the colorful costumes of the peasant people, taking particular interest in an animal hair beautiful and fine, alpaca. His first idea was to develop dolls typical using alpaca wool. After three years of hard work, began to compile alpaca clothing.Three looms were armed and began with the production of the first layer and ponchos; Then knitting machines were installed classic sweaters.

In 1962 the company was founded as Folk Art, and in 1973 as ARTESANIAS MON REPOS S.A., since the company had been renewed in time to launch the brand ALPACA MON REPOS.

The products are marketed through retail outlets in Lima and consignees themselves at the national level, our exports to Europe and North America gives us the certification that we maintain a quality standard

At present YVONNE STAUFFER ROD, is the chairwoman of the directory.
